1.1. Downloading
The first step is to find the download link. It's near the middle of the Granite2 Downloads page (click to open in a new window), in the area shown here:

Note:
The rest of the instructions on this page are for Internet Explorer 7. Other web browsers are similar but not exactly the same. We recommend using Internet Explorer if you are not familiar with downloading and installing software from the internet.
When you click the"Granite2 Installer" link, Internet Explorer will open the Window shown below. Click "Run" to start the installer:
Depending on the speed of your internet connection, it may take a few minutes for the installer to download:
Finally, confirm that you want to run the installer by clicking "Run" again:
The Installer will now run and ask you a few questions. See the next page of this manual for details.
