1.3. Upgrading
We periodically upgrade Granite2 with new features and bug fixes. These upgrades are free. There are three ways to find out when a new upgrade is available:
- In-Game
Every couple of weeks when you close Granite2, it will ask if you would like to check online for a free upgrade. It will then visit a web page and let you know if a new version is available. You can also check anytime using the "Check for Updates" button on the Granite menu. - Online
You can periodically check our website for new versions. We will announce them on the home page and list them on the Roadmap page. - Email
The best way to stay informed is to subscribe to our newsletter. We will send you a quick email once or twice a month announcing free upgrades, new products, etc.
When a free upgrade is available, you can get it from our Granite2 Downloads page. Upgrading is exactly the same as installing, so you can use the installation instructions in this manual.
